Short description:

ABM Space Sp. z o.o. specializes in the development of Solar System exploration analog robots. ABM Space robots are used for research purposes in extreme environments on Earth. The company was created based on the teams and Martian rover analog technologies built at Polish universities for the University Rover Challenge competition in Utah, US, between 2009 and 2013.

ABM Space Sp. z o.o. implements developer solutions to use in daily life Project and develops prototypes and solutions forming the basis enabling to create flight versions. Apart from building prototypes and participation to European Union funded projects (Innovative Economy, international programs) the company offers sophisticated testing, analysis and measurement services.

Products & Services:
  • The ReMY system infrastructure, a remote Martian rover simulator, will enable the entrepreneurs and the research units to conduct research aimed at developing better control procedures for this type of mobile devices, and the results of such research will increase the optimality of the broadly understood user interface.
  • Test services based on the Magma White platform - during the research missions organized in extreme environments, such as Sahara (Morocco), ice caverns (Austria) or polar regions, the Magma White robot tests a set of payloads for external clients. The robot is controlled by satellite from the Mission Control Center in Torun. The payloads may consists of measurement devices, electronic and mechanical components, power supplies, cameras or Communications equipment, which need to be operated in extreme environments. So far tested were among others: the Wisdom georadar, the LIFE chlorophyll sensor, suspension components and electronics. Education displays of the Magma White robot - in form of various display and target scopes, with the possibility to add multimedia. The display may be profiled for a popular, educational or specialist event.
  • An airbag table for 2D microgravity simulation is a test service for orbital equipment developers and the study of the dynamics of small satellites.
