Erend Space PSA is a Polish technology company operating in the downstream sector. It commenced commercial and operational activities in 2024. The company specialises in advanced processing of satellite data (Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2, Copernicus) and the provision of smart software solutions (SaaS) for business and precision agriculture. Erend Space uses its own machine learning (ML) model to transfer space engineering to traditional sectors of the terrestrial economy. This accelerates environmental analysis and supports decision-making processes on Earth.
The Hive Mind app is Erend Space’s flagship product. It is a digital decision-support environment that is designed for modern beekeeping and the agri-tech sector. The platform aggregates, processes and interprets satellite data from the European Copernicus programme using advanced signal analysis from the Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2.
The application’s key innovation is its ability to translate complex raw orbital data into straightforward business messages, delivered directly to the end user. The system’s main features are as follows:
- Remote sensing and data fusion (Earth observation): Advanced processing, calibration and interpretation of satellite data acquired simultaneously from optical and radar (SAR) sensors.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML): Use of proprietary deep learning models for the automatic recognition of 56 species of honey plant.
- Maya voice assistant: This is a hands-free app for beekeepers that enables interaction with the app via voice commands whilst working directly at the hives. It integrates an intelligent voice assistant and a note-taking system (Speech-to-Text).
