Short Description
Redwire Corporation (NYSE:RDW) is an integrated space and defense tech company focused on advanced technologies. We are building the future of aerospace infrastructure, autonomous systems, and multi-domain operations, leveraging digital engineering and AI automation. Redwire’s approximately 1,300 employees located throughout Europe and the United States are committed to delivering innovative space and airborne platforms transforming the future of multi-domain operations.

The Redwire facility in Warsaw, Poland specializes in structural and thermal design and analysis for satellite platforms, docking systems and payloads. The site also supports assembly, integration and testing (MAI&T).

In this matter, the team is working on the development of the International Berthing and Docking Mechanism (IBDM). IBDM technology will enable autonomous spacecraft docking for the Gateway lunar space station’s International Habitat (I-Hab), and iterations of this system could support other elements of the Gateway as well as low Earth orbit (LEO) spacecraft and commercial space stations.

The team also focuses on the development and production of low-mass, high-power and low profile solar arrays.

Redwire Poland’s growth plan also includes microgravity research and development experiments, partnering with Polish universities, medical research institutions, and pharmaceutical companies to leverage Redwire’s microgravity capabilities on the International Space Station.
