June 4, 2024 in Warsaw Expo XXI will be held 4. Space Sector Forum 2024. The event has been organized every two years since 2016, bringing together a wide range of participants and enthusiasts of the development of space technologies from business, representatives of Science and research centers, public administration and the media.
The event aims to promote the space sector at home and abroad. The space industry is a market segment with a high potential for development and innovation, in which the presented solutions and technologies can be successfully used in industry and other economic sectors, including agriculture, environment and climate protection, National Security and defence. The collected satellite data can be an important part of the development of the open data economy and transformation of Industry 4.0.
This year’s edition of SSF 2024 will consist of two exhibition part and the conference. During the event, the latest solutions and achievements of Polish space companies will be presented, while during a parallel conference and accompanying thematic workshops will be outlined the future perspectives of the industry.
The substantive part of the event will be discussed important issues related to the direction of development and future challenges of the space sector:
• Changes in the Polish Space Strategy;
• National Space Program;
• Participation of national entities in ESA programs;
• The role of the Polish space industry in ensuring the security of the Republic of Poland.
The co-organizers of the event are the Ministry of Development and Technology, the Polish Space Agency, and the Industrial Development Agency.
The Space Sector Forum 2024 is an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience and a platform for shaping future directions of development and new initiatives of the space sector.
