The Polish Space Industry Association closes 2021 significantly widening the membership base. In the departing year, six new entities joined the organisation.
Despite the pandemic time, the SPACE PL was very active, developing projects with the sector which all time attracts new entities.
Uniflow Dynamics is a company that provides highly specialized knowledge and experience in fields such as Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Computational Aero-Acoustics (CAA) and Multidisciplinary Design Optimisation (MDO). UniFlow Dynamics serves customers in aerospace, automotive, railway and shipbuilding industries.
In turn, Axpir Sp. z o.o. is an engineering consulting company offering engineer support but also project management and business development support. The contract proposed (B2B) can be for a defined period or a defined work-package as well as project in the space and hi-tech sectors.
Another new entity – Cloudless Sp. z o.o. develops innovative, on a global scale, unmanned aerial vehicles flying at altitudes of up to 25,000 meters. It provides high-quality data on a scale not available for conventional unmanned aerial vehicles. The company’s planes soar into the stratosphere using special, biodegradable balloons. As a result, it has an advantage over most of the global competition in the HALE / HAPS drone market – other projects of this type have greater weather restrictions.
Electris Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. with headquarters in Bialka in Podhale region, processes copper, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals and their alloys. It is a certified contract manufacturer of copper components and busbars, and our clients are global concerns. As a leader in our industry on the European market, it has a modern machine park, and the entire production of copper elements is carried out with the use of innovative machines and technologies. Cutting, punching, turning and milling are just some of the processes we offer. It permanently cooperates with trusted partners in the field of galvanic coatings – from tinning to nickel and silver plating.
Exatel S.A. is the Polish telecommunications operator with over 20 years of experience and a provider of reliable cybersecurity services. In 2017 Exatel was acquired by the Polish government. It operates in both local and international business markets. The company manages a fibre-optic data transmission network of a total length of 21,700 km. It is actively involved in R&D projects. The company’s offer includes data transmission services, lease of telecommunication lines, voice services, collocation, SOC services, antimalware, anti-DDoS and other cyber security services, voice wholesale, construction and maintenance of infrastructure as well as satellite communication services.
The last new company, that joined the SPACE PL in December this year is Baltic Orbital Services Sp. z o.o. The company is a start-up during the process of acceleration. The area of interest includes: creating innovative products and services connected with the space sector, in particular orbiting and deorbiting of satellites as well as transport and positioning of the satellites. The company possesses the technology based on plasma-ion engines.
