On Saturday, April 22, 2023, representatives of ZPSK took part in a conference held in the Sejm of the Republic of Poland entitled: „Polish space industry – Poles in space on the 550th anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus”. The Polish Space Industry Association had patronage over the event.
The organizers of the event were: the Parliamentary Team for Space Technologies, Astronomy and the Celebration of the 550th Birthday of Nicolaus Copernicus, the Polish Space Industry Foundation, PARP and the PFR Group.
During the discussion panels, the following topics were discussed: issues such as ways to finance projects implemented in the space domain, or the role of independent orbital infrastructure in ensuring state security.
Among the members of the Polish Space Industry Association, such entities as Creotech Instruments, Astronika, Sybilla Technologies, Syderal and Łukasiewicz – Institute of Aviation appeared at the conference.
Paweł Pacek from the Board of ZPSK took part in a discussion panel entitled: „Prospects for the development of Poland in the space sector”. On the other hand, Paweł Ziemnicki from the ZPSK Bureau participated in the final debate on Saturday’s event: „Space sector in the media”.
