The third edition of World Space Week Wroclaw will take place
on October 5-6, 2019. The hosts of the event are enthusiasts from the WroSpace Association. The Polish Space Industry Association took the patronage of the above event.
The event is organized not only for experts on the subject and business and science people, but also for children.
The highlight of the World Space Week Wrocław 2019 program is the popular science conference that will take place on October 6, 2019 in the Wrocław Congress Center. Special guests will include:
- Artur B. Chmielewski, engineer, manager of many space missions at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, son of „Papcio Chmiel”,
- dr Grzegorz Brona, former president of the Polish Space Agency,
- Wiktor Niedzicki, creator of the legendary „Laboratory” program,
- dr Andrzej Dragan, physicist and photographer appreciated in the world
The event consists of a series of 40 space workshops for children, adolescents and adults, an astronomical space exhibition zone, a stratospheric balloon mission with a live broadcast, and trade fairs of companies in the space and astronomical sector.
The event is co-financed by the Wrocław Commune.
