Poland in 2015 became a member state of the European Southern Observatory – ESO. Since 2015, Polish companies can participate in the ESO tenders and its competitive procurement.
A new representative of the Polish Space Industry Association to fulfill the role of the Industrial Liaison Officer (ILO) became the Office Manager – Oskar Zdunek.
The activities carried out by the ILO are mainly:
- promotion of current tenders announced by the Observatory among entrepreneurs,
- activities aimed at creating groups of entities interested in participating in ESO tenders in Poland,
- mediation in contacts between Polish and foreign partners in building international consortia jointly applying for contracts in ESO.
