The Kosmonauta.net company from Gdansk became the 25th member of the Polish Space Industry Association
Kosmonauta.net was founded as a specialized Polish language space portal project, due to the lack of similar information sources in this language. Since 2009 the portal is the biggest and most often updated (3-4 articles published daily) Polish language site on astronautics. Since its beginning Kosmonauta.net actively participated in promoting the space industry development in Poland, for example in the „Support Poland’s entry to the European Space Agency” project.
Due to big and growing number of site visitors the decision was made to further professionalize the project. Kosmonauta.net joined the Academic Incubator of Entrepreneurship at the University of Gdansk. After a year long incubation stage, in January 2012 a limited liability company was founded.
Currently the Kosmonauta.net company offers mostly advisory and information services related to the space industry, creates its own applications and enables to test hardware on the Hevelius stratospheric balloon platform.
