On the 1st of March an ESA information meeting took place with Polish industry representatives, which prepared them to submit proposals and participate in the SSA program.
Space Situational Awareness (SSA) is a program, which works on warning and risk prevention of the orbiting satellite infrastructure as related to the space environment and space debris.
Poland declared a 2,9% participation in the SSA program. This will allow Polish entities to get contracts of 2,19 mln Euro worth in the 2013-2018 time frame.
