IAC or International Astronautical Congress is one of the most important events in the global space sector. Between 21st and 25th October, 2019 Washington D.C. will host the global space community during the 70th International Astronautical Congress.

Every year, several thousand representatives of the industry associated with industry as well as research and administrative environments appear at the event, which is organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF). In the 50th anniversary of the human landing on the moon, the IAC will take place in Washington, DC. This year congress theme is Space: The Power of the Past, and the Promise of the Future

Polish Embassy in Washington in partnership with Polish Space Agency and Polish Space Industry Association would like to seize this opportunity to present Poland’s space sector which is increasingly developing its competencies in related technology areas at the event called Polish Space Night on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Ambassador’s Residence.

Representatives of relevant Polish space institutions,  entrepreneurs and researchers participating in the IAC 2019 will present the potential of young but vibrant Polish space sector as well as capabilities of entities operating in this area. The invited guests will have a unique occasion to learn more about Polish expertise in the space domain and opportunities for cooperation.

On the agenda

  • keynote speeches by representatives of two main Polish space institutions: Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology and Polish Space Agency
  • presentation of Polish space sector by Polish Space Industry Association
  • a series of short presentations by representatives of several Polish companies and research institutes
  • networking cocktail / B2B session

We hope that such a meeting will help Polish companies in establishing valuable contacts and cooperation.
