On the 4th and 5th of May a delegation from the Ministry of Economy and the Association members met with representatives of the Belgian space industry in Brussels.
The main topic of the meeting was information exchange on how in the both countries the space industry is organized and specialized.
The Belgian domain lies in launcher programs (active participation in building Ariane 5 and Vega rockets, and in the future Ariane 6), instruments for observation and telecommunication satellites, building subsystems and integration of small satellites, ground stations and equipment for satellite testing.
On the second day representatives of Polish companies visited the aerospace cluster in Liege, including headquarters of Belgian companies and test laboratories. In Liege presentation of companies from both countries were given, as well as bilateral talks on prospects to start shared projects.
