The Ministry of Defence announced the competition for the best engineer’s, bachelor’s or master’s thesis as well as the best doctoral dissertation concerning space technology, techniques and engineering, as well as autonomous systems. The competition is addressed to people who defended their theses in the above-mentioned areas.
The first topical area involves using space technology and techniques, the space satellite engineering in the process of the Earth’s observation, as well as building the situational awareness in space, telecommunication and satellite navigation, launching objects into orbit. Another topical area concerns autonomous objects which reduce personnel engagement in hazardous working conditions.
The full prize pool amounts PLN 86 000. The graduates who defended their theses no earlier than October 1, 2017 r. are entitled to participate. Theses ought to be written in the Polish language. The deadline for submitting is October 2, 2020.
